So now that you engineered everything for like forty decades, including two people staying alive and the birth of a child of Magic-True love, the fall of a world, watched all impartial, playing God, while lots of people went through hell under Regina's rule, including you, and literally moved everyone like chess pieces, including yourself (given your not waking up until Emma's name) -- do we get to know why? Is it all still about Bae? About having the power to find him in a world without magic?

(Which.....way to miss your son's point and your love's if so.)


Or Is your plan bigger than that? Do you replace Regina as the focal chaotic-neutral villain in season two?

(I feel gipped my Regina-Rumplestiltskin scene post Belle reveal, too. I want that scene.)

I am not so secure in seeing your redemption story anywhere on my screen right now either.

You know what's a bad idea? Unleashing magic on everyone.
Especially if it is just to find Bae, because... dude, EMMA WAS A BOUNTY HUNTER AND SHE OWES YOU A FAVOR, DIPSHIT. That might have been useful!
But, on top of missing Bae and Belle's point... magic evens the playing field. I think in a pure non-magical battle of wits, Gold would win, but he just gave Regina all her power back, after she'd used the last little bit of it in the last episode to get her apple.
