Free For all Flailing
Toss anything here you'd like!
Rumpel
Red!
(I for one am totally happy to let her learn that in Milliways.)
TURNOVER
(Also I think it's preeeeetty safe to say this'll help push Emma into believing. From everything we've seen so far, it would take something affecting Henry to get through to her.
Speaking of affecting Henry: "The only person who's getting hurt in all this is Henry." ABOUT THAT.)

AKJHASKJHSDKJHKSDHJKSDKJHSDKJHDSFKH
I cannot even. If Henry dies, it will be the third favorite, I could play this person, character of mine to die while in an open canon. Emma & Regina fighting really doesn't do anything for me.
BUT EVERYTHING about the big fight to take back the kingdom interests me. (Because see my above notes at Backstory about how this one ended with the Queen still in power and James still in a cell.) About the fact it's Snow's idea in the preview clip! James & Rumpel are having a sword fight together WHAT?
And magic is coming back holygods? Bring me the thing I can't tell you without spoilering you that is bound to make me cry, EVEN MORE.
Without spoilering anyone, I'm so so so damn excited for all three guest appearances and have been counting down to seeing all of them since hte second it became publicated knowlede.

ANGRIEST MOST COLORFUL SWARM OF BEES EVER

Re: Red!
Jill. Bestest little girl friends. *squishes the two of them*
Re: Red!
And sometime after the finale I think I will finally have a bead on when I want to toss Red in (and I am totes still game for Snow tagging along and going 'oh, we're cool, it's Milliways!'; in fact, that'll probably help Red be more comfortable with it). Plot With Rocks In will be wrapping this coming weekend ish and I'll sort it from there.
The Hat, The Ring, The Apple(Turnover)
But with Regina, I'm so stuck on this now.
She gave up the last bit of magic, and her best memento of Daniel, to take down Emma (who'd already offered to basically leave them alone 80% of the time). So, she gave up Daniel, to take down Emma, and instead takes out her own son. I am so sad and sadfaced about this.
August
I am annoyed at you August. For months you've been an amazing man with a great mystery. Who was tossing quips and being cool. And then you tried once, and you did a lousy job of it? And thus you gave up entirely?
Okay, giving up is a choice. It is. And it can be yours.
But don't say you don't have a choice.
Giving up is still a choice.
Mary Margaret
Like I know she doesn't remember, because that would be so much bigger, but she's seriously taking on Regina (in The Stranger) and Emma (in this episode) with the same clarity.
No matter how personal, how insulted or hurt she gets, she's be so clear, so pure, so on point.
I LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE HER SO MUCH.
Charming!
1. In Storybrooke, Mary Margaret is the one who has more faith than David (never wavering vs. David's wavering in the jail due to TFL memories), and in The Fairytale Land, it's James who tells Snow White to have faith.
2. HOLYGODYGUYS JAMES IS GRABBING HIS CHEST WHILE SNOW FALLS TO THE GROUND ON THE HILL. HOWEVER FAR AWAY, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN ALL OUR LOVE STORIES, WE'VE SEEN IT COMPLETELY EFFECT THE OTHER PERSON. GUYS. HE'S CLUTCHING HIS HEART AND KNOWING SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED TO SNOW WHITE AT THAT VERY MOMENT.
Re: Red!
Daniel - The Evil Queen & Snow White
So the whole world has been assuming this was in reference to Daniel, with no idea when Snow White finds out about him, since the end of "Stable Boy" she still doesn't know. Except SUDDENLY we figure out she finds out here. Months and months after this conversation took place.
GUYS. SNOW HAS BEEN OWNING SINCE SHE WAS A CHILD THAT SHE MADE REGINA'S LIFE A HORRIBLE PLACE JUST BY BEING HERSELF. NOT FOR ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING. THAT SHE'S BEEN CHASED DOWN, AND ATTEMPTED TO BE KILLED, AND HER FATHER HAS BEEN KILLED, FOR HER LIFE, FOR GETTING REGINA INTO THIS LIFE.
AKSJKSJDHFJHSDFJHDSFKJH My baby has some noble ownership issues.
(Oh. God. Red. How very well you really do know her.)
Re: Mary Margaret
I CANNOT DIFFERENTIATE THE TWO ANYMORE.
I LIKE IT.
Re: TURNOVER
Well.
And Graham. And Kathryn.
(And Belle. And Jefferson.)
And David. And August.
Re: TURNOVER
I also feel like the poisonous apple turnover had no effect on me; I find myself CRAVING ONE SO BADLY RIGHT NOW.
... not the poisonous part, of course.
Obviously.
Re: TURNOVER
Re: August
Augh, I feel so mixed about August. On the one hand, he seems like he's got so much potential to be such a great character. EVEN with the Pinocchio stuff, which I think they could use really effectively.
And then on the other hand, he goes and does this. Or makes a decision like giving up. Or leaving Baby!Emma for his own purposes. Or just idk ... just.
I really do want to get all up in his head and see how it works and figure out how to MAKE IT ALL MAKE SENSE so he doesn't annoy me like he does right now. >
The Ring & The Cup
Regina: "I'll give you anything."
Mr. Gold: "You no longer have anything I want."
And the world held it's breath and nothing happened yet. Again.
But. Something that did strike me while looking at tumblr a few seconds ago is the dichotomy here as well. In our two supposedly Evil or Chaotic characters, we've got one trinket that connects these each to the love they lost. Regina gave hers up with only a few seconds of hesitation (for her revenge, and the horrible twisted path that would fall out from it), while Mr. Gold nearly beat a man half-senseless and gave up his biggest secret/safe gaurd just to keep his back in his own possession.
It's a really interesting thing to think about.
Re: TURNOVER
The Castle Storming
So they storm King George's castle, and beat up King George's gaurds, and Snow makes it to King George's dungeon to find James not there in his cells, has her tete-e-tete with the mirror/James/Evil Queen, and then divests herself of all her weapons on King George's table (which is the table that is later hers, and in Midas' Hall too) --
Where is King George while all this is happening?
Regina's Dream
I love the added roles for The Apple Tree, Red, Archie, Grumpy, Granny, and Henry that ended up in this dream. Not just Mary Margaret, David, and Emma that the bits of the clip we'd seen had given us. I like that her fall is a community drive thing even in dreams.
It's not just about Snow & Regina in Storybrooke, and it can't be broken down to just the two of them in Storybrooke. It may have started that way in The Fairytale Land, and The Curse may have been enacted to punish Snow and Charming specifically, but it, also, caught up everyone. Just as she promised it would at the wedding.
All their happy endings, all that they love ripped from them.
The war on Storybrooke's side is very much a whole massive community of people who've had everything taken from them for three decades by one singular woman. I like that we're seeing, even in her fears, she realizes they are a sleeping dragon. Because the entirity of the town will, and every person in it, as Mr. Gold, pointed out will have reason to hunt her down for it.
