More of Rumpelstiltskin's back story. This episode falls maybe a short while after "Desperate Souls," and probably sheds a whole lot of light on the centuries later "Skin Deep." Bring me your everything thoughts! Baelfire (who is now our second missing person)! The Blue Fairy! Rumpelstiltskin's changing! The "one deal he broke"! There was so much here!

I have to admit, part of me *really* wanted August to be Bae... because I'm starting to think that he isn't in SB.

And that makes me sad.

Because I apparently feel very deeply about this now.

I had so much to say and it's barely coherent even two days later. My first one for this morning is that both people who love him most, Baelfire and Belle, leave Rumpelstiltskin with the exact same words/message:

"You coward!" - Baelfire

"You're a coward, Rumpelstiltskin" - Belle

That by the time he can regret the choices that lead to either, each of them is gone beyond recovering. (Plus, as I'm writing this I'm realize how much Bael and Belle are Homonyms of each other when you say them together.)
