Today is the day. There are almost too many things to say.

Emma is here. In Storybrooke. But Storybrooke doesn't seem to have changed yet. Charming hasn't woken up. No one else has woken up. And Henry! Henry isn't Mary Margaret's erstwhile but sad pet project, or just the newest child Regina has decided she knows how to raise -- he's her son. Emma's son.

We have a grandchild. Emma had a child. Emma had, I know, I know, twenty-eight years. But she was so small when he carried her away, and now she's so tall. So spikey. But she has Charming's bright eyes. And some amazing curls. The blonde must come from him, too.

Twenty eight years. We've missed so much. She can't even hear me. And Henry. Henry. Can it be tomorrow and class already? Can we see him again? And where did Emma go? And why hasn't anyone else woken up? Where is that blasted Rumpelstiltskin now?

Why are we just sitting here, drinking nearly cold tea and reading Kafka? How can she not know what today is? What just happened? Why can't she feel it?



Hair is still distressing short.
Clothing still made of cardigans.


Still trapped in here.
Still not Queen again.
Still no Charming.


But Emma is here.

Day one starts tomorrow.
Soon she'll free us all.
